Solaris to publish psychological horror Home Sick by Rhiannon Grist

Solaris is delighted to announce the acquisition of Home Sick by Rhiannon Grist.

In this debut novel from the British Fantasy Award-winning author of The Queen of the High Fields, Tamsin escapes from Edinburgh to the Scottish countryside in desperate need of a fresh start and a new life away from the city. But when the cottage she thought she’d bought turns out to be a semi-detached house in the middle of nowhere – unnerving neighbour she never sees included – the place she hoped would be a sanctuary becomes a snare as she loses her grip on reality.

World English Language Rights were acquired by Amanda Raybould from Dorian Maffei at Kimberley Cameron & Associates Literary Agency. Film/TV Rights have also been acquired by Kim Yau at Echo Lake Entertainment.

Home Sick will be released in Summer 2026.

Solaris to publish dark fantasy Cry, Voidbringer by Elaine Ho for the UK

Solaris is thrilled to announce the acquisition of Cry, Voidbringer by Elaine Ho for the UK.

A jaded warrior, conscripted by a kingdom battling their imperialist masters, accidentally rescues a child whose existence can easily turn the tide of a war. To survive, they must navigate the games kingdoms play, where their captors look to reclaim a memory of an empire, but the cities they reconquer don’t want their version of liberation.

For fans of The Unbroken and The Jasmine Throne, Cry, Voidbringer will be released in autumn 2025.

UK/BC English Language Rights were acquired by Amanda Raybould from Jennifer Azantian at Azantian Literary Agency. Rights also to Michael LaBorn at Bindery Books (NA).

Solaris to publish cosmic space opera The Immeasurable Heaven by Caspar Geon

Solaris is delighted to announce the acquisition of The Immeasurable Heaven by Caspar Geon.

In a long settled galaxy, a race known as the Sovereigns possess the means to visit parallel realities, appearing inside the body of someone, or something, else. The Well, where horrors are flung, runs through the realities like a fissure, and the king-turned-sorcerer who’s been trapped there for more years than he can say trudges the wastelands for a way out. When news breaks of a priceless map of the realities, a kaleidoscopic cast of alien characters race each other across reality to the Well—and quite possibly to their own deaths.

A cosmic adventure that reads like a fable from another galaxy, The Immeasurable Heaven will be released in July 2025.
