IT’S THE END OF THE YEAR…AND WHAT A YEAR IT’S BEEN! SHALL WE RECAP?

We’ve had an excellent 2018, publishing over 20 books and wrangling our authors so that we might bring you some incredible fiction! But just to make sure you didn’t miss out on something amazing…check out all of the books we published this year!

Revenant Gun, the completely perfect conclusion to one of the most exciting trilogies of the decade! There was Dave Hutchinson, closing out Europe at Dawn, one of the Guardian‘s Best Books of 2018, with the same sharp wit we’ve come to expect from a master storyteller. Adrian Tchaikovsky and Justina Robson partnering on an incredible shared worlds series and not forgetting the topical, timely, and bold anthologies we’ve had the privilege to publish this year!

From Not So Stories where writers of colour take Rudyard Kipling’s problematic Just So Stories and write in response to them; to Creatures: The Legacy of Frankestein and Dracula: Rise of the Beast—giving us fresh new takes on some of the ‘monsters’ we love to hate—we dipped our toes in it all and loved every minute of it!

Derek Kunsken anyone? – and stories to go back to again and again (Death of A Clone deserves a third AND a fourth read!). Weird and wonderful fiction sitting on our shelves (Green Jay & Crow ), and powerful characters that left us wondering what they did next – Hallie (Paris Adrift), we’re thinking of you!

What we’re saying is… it’s been a bloody good year!

Which of these have you particularly enjoyed? Have you read all of them? If not, make sure to check them out and grab them today! And we hope your 2018 was just as good — bookwise and otherwise—as ours has been! Onward to the next one!
